Sensory Processing in the Children Aged Under 14 Years

Objectives: Individuals should have good sensory processing ability to function appropriately and participate in daily activities. This investigation aimed evaluate the characteristics of children aged under 14 years. Methods: is a descriptive cross-sectional study. The study population comprised all >14 years referred child’s developmental centers elementary middle schools Tehran City, Iran. After considering inclusion criteria, 1272 were selected using multistage cluster sampling. research tool was profile-2, completed by children’s caregivers teachers. Their measured according cut-off scores separate questionnaires Sensory profile-2 section, school, quadrant factors. Results: samples scored just like majority others on most areas, with only two quadrants, one school factor score indicating “less than others” or “more others.” Discussion: According findings, high sensitivity leads intolerance schools. Also, low level seeking toddlers associated less other movement items.
